2019 Writing Goals

I’ve decided that 2019 will be the year I write some of the plot bunnies that have been hopping around my head for a while, and also the year that I use this journal for more than just exchange letters. More people seem to be coming over to DW since tumblr imploded, so it seems like a good time to start posting more!

In the interest of accountability, there are three fics in particular that I want to work on this year, which will all probably end up being longer, chaptered works.

• Emelan - Briar, Rosethorn and Evvy during the war
• Emelan/Tortall - Dove/Aly/Daja spy fic
• Tortall - Dove/Aly + Daine court politics in the Copper Isles. 

I’ll be posting outlines, ideas and snippets here as I go, but the chapters will go on AO3.

My other fannish project for 2019 is to look more seriously into setting up a Tamora Pierce exchange. I think there are enough people who regularly request/offer TP works in other exchanges for it to maybe work, but I need to work out more details and drum up some interest...

Hey! I love the idea of a TP fic exchange, and I look forward to hearing about it as you think about how to set it up.

I also think those fic ideas are fun -- especially the Emelan one! The war period fascinates me, and more stories exploring that would be great. :)
